Brocade adapter support status for Dell systems running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7

Issue:

Dell does not sell or support Brocade adapters for use with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. Brocade adapters are not offered as options on the Dell configuration pages when Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 is selected as the operating system. If the system is purchased with a different operating system and installed with Red Hat Enterprise 7 at a later date, Dell will not provide support for any issues reported against these devices.

Work Around

Dell offers a variety of other adapter options that can be substituted to provide the same functionality as the brocade adapters. When configuring a system during the purchase process, these other options will be presented and will be available for purchase after selecting the RHEL7 operating system.
