PERC S300 with Windows 2016 Server
Just to let people know that, PERC S300 with Windows 2016 Server is possible and OK, even for installation on disk :)
Only need few files from: DELL_MULTI-DEVICE_A05_R294488.exe
I've put them in perc_s100_s300.zip

Performance is poor.
Recovery options are limited.
Troubleshooting options are limited.
OS and software support is limited.
Don't use it.

I would take Windows-managed RAID over the S-series controllers ANY day.

I just inherited a Dell server to support, can you give any reasoning on why not use the S300 controller?

Thanks for the driver man! I need to run a simple anonymous FTP server. Didn't need an extended debate as to the quality of the RAID controller on the server being repurposed. Much Appreciated
