How do I reset users/passwords on a M6220 without the USB cable?
I've inherited a M1000e rack with M6220 switches in it. Previous administrator is long gone and the documentation doesn't list the passwords for administering the switches.
Now, I can http directly into the web interface but it gives me a login prompt which I can't get past.
I can connect to the CLI via the iKVM interface on the M1000's CMC management, but I'm not able to run user-management commands like "username root password {password} level 15".
Is there a way to edit the user database without having the USB-to-DB9 serial cable? Or, if I need the cable, does anybody know what the Vendor and Device ID's are for it (or what chipset it uses)? I might have an existing USB-to-DB9 which would match it.

The switch is configured with a default user name of root, and the default password is calvin. If you need to reset the password you will need to make a console connection to access the boot menu. The part number I have for that cable is WY835.
