Old optiplex 755 upgrade
Hello - I know nothing about computers and I’m looking for some help.
my son has taken an old dell optiplex and he’s trying to upgrade to play fortnight and roblox.
he purchased a MSI GT 1030 graphics card, power supply, and intel celeron d360 cpu. He’s updated the BIOS but we can’t get it to work. It will power on for a second, the fan comes on, then it all shuts down.
how can I confirm all of our parts are compatible?

The power supply is also not compatible.

CEDAR MILL Celeron D SL9KK is not compatible with an Optiplex 755.

why spend all that cash on any 13year junk CORE PCs. why and sorry but
buy a used 9020MT and end this pain.. please.
buy a PC that runs W10-64bit now, and has future.. never any core2, ever.
buy i3 ,i5, i7 up, and win. buy Haswell gen4 UP;

seems like SFF , best I can tell.
the SFF had CPU option new as, in the dell guide clear as day..

no your PSU will not work.
that SFF card must not be over 69mm high, as the 755sff guide states. page 17, only this tall or less fits.
the cards that might fit here are very very limited on width and length, and only 69mm tall
see this red line I drewl, see that very very narrow gap there. yah nothing much fits there for sure fast for gaming. this is no Gaming PC, why buy SFF , I see these in doctors offices, zero gaming, forever

NO PC stated no OS stated, celeron d360 cpu. is no good for windows 10.
and worse is Q35 Express no support now from MS or Dell or well anyone after 13 years.
next time ask what does work first..
not last. guessing is expense and lots of 2 way shipping if best buy has no such parts.
755 means ZERO, what size is it, see post 1 on this form the poor person begging you just for that?
755 is now 13 years old,Core2 limited or worse lame celerons or pentiums.
bust upgrade is quad core2, newest stepping, but not sure me which one BIOS on this PC like it.
E7400 R0? (I have dell 380MT, running on core2, quad, windows 10 -64bit, are you trying to run w10:?
thy to learn this first, parts do not fit all three cases for sure PSU and GPU cards. MT on left
