FEBFY21 Release: Windows and Linux OS Driver Pack Update for the deployment of server OS via Lifecycle Controller.

NOTE: 1. If you select the Any Other Operating System option, make sure that you prepare the drivers required for installing these operating systems because the drivers not available
2. Secure boot - Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.1 x86_64 , Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.7 x86_64 and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP1 x86_64 cannot be installed using LC Driver Pack (OOB drivers) by enabling Secure boot mode, because OOB drivers are not signed for secure boot. Please disable secure boot option in BIOS while installing the OS using LC (OOB drivers).
3. RHEL OS Issue - After installing RHEL 7.7 or RHEL 8.1 Operating system we may observe issue like OS would not install/update the drivers from Driver Pack. To avoid such issues we have to pass the kernel boot parameter "inst.dd=LABEL=OEMDRV" before starting the Installation to use the Driver disk and install/update drivers.
4. SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP1 x86_64 OS : If customer consume the Quarterly Security Update during the OS installation , Intel Driver may not show you the right driver version after the successful OS installation. And this the expected behavior since the Intel rpms are not supported with Quarterly Security Update
5. INTEL/AMD chipset driver Issue: Driver information in the programs and features, the installer specifies that there is no prior version of chipset driver was installed. This is a expected behavior.
6. SW RAID drivers are not included in the driver packs for 14G and 15G systems. You have to manually provide the drivers during the OS deployment by using USB/ISO mount.
7. AMD and Nvidia add-on card drivers are not included in the driver packs.
8. Non-Dell add-on card drivers are not included in the driver packs.
9. By default, in-band drivers are used if the drivers for any OS or device are not Out-of-Band.
10. For Dellbrand and Debrand platforms will not be listed while updating the DUPs on OS Rhel 7.7, Rhel 8.1 and Sles15 Sp1
11. The system needs to be rebooted after the Matrox driver installation to resolve the yellow bang with Matrox Driver.
12. No support for NPAR and NPAR-EP running Windows Server 2019 for Broadcom and Qlogic network devices

Dell Update Package Instructions for Driver Pack Download 1. Click the "Download Now" link to download the file. 2. If the Export Compliance Disclaimer window appears, click the "I agree" link if you accept the agreement. 3. When the File Download window appears, click "Save" to save the file to your hard drive.
Installation You can update the Driver Pack using Lifecycle Controller. 1. Copy the file to a USB device 2. Plug in the USB device and enter in to Platform Update 3. Select the USB device and navigate through the directory contents to find the executable 4. Launch the executable and follow the instructions provided.
