- Unable to Pair Mouse
- Mouse Cursor is Erratic
- Touch Wheel or Gestures Non-Functional
- Mouse Non-Functional After Being Left Idle
The WM615 mouse connects via Bluetooth Smart (also referred to as Bluetooth Low Energy) to maximize battery life.
Bluetooth Smart is supported in Bluetooth 4.0 and newer. It is not backwards compatible with earlier versions of Bluetooth.
Bluetooth Smart is Natively supported in Windows 8. It is not natively supported in Windows 7, but may be made available through the driver for BT 4.0 or higher hardware.
To pair the mouse:
- Twist the mouse in to its position for use. A white LED at the end of the touch wheel strip should illuminate briefly.
- Press and hold the pairing button for 3 seconds. When in pairing mode the touch wheel strip LED will pulse white.
- Select the WM615 from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your PC or mobile device.
To clear pairing information:
- Twist the mouse into its storage position.
- Press and hold the pairing button for 10 seconds. The touch wheel strip LED should light up amber.
- Press the left or right mouse button to clear pairing data.

If mouse cursor movement is erratic:
- Check the optical sensor for lint etc.
- Avoid using the mouse on reflective or uneven surfaces.
- Move the mouse closer to the receiver.

To enable/disable the touch wheel or gestures in Windows:
- Click the start button or search charm, then type "Device Manager".
- Select Device Manager from the search results.
- Expand the section Mice and Other Pointing Devices.
- Right Click on the WM615 icon and select Properties.
- Uncheck the option for Enable Gestures.

If the mouse fails to operate after being left idle:
- Click the start button or search charm, then type "Device Manager".
- Select Device Manager from the search results.
- Right click on the Bluetooth radio, then select Properties.
- On the Power Management tab uncheck the option for "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
